Crowns and bridges are usually made of porcelain and gold alloy. Porcelain is strong and it can match with your tooth colour. Gold alloy is used for its superior strength. It is especially helpful for patients who grind their teeth. Both porcelain and gold alloy are well tolerated. It is very rare to have allergic reactions to porcelain or gold alloy.
