We are always thrilled to welcome new patients to our beautiful clinic and want you to feel relaxed in knowing what to expect from your first visit with us. While each examination is customised for the patient’s exact wants and needs, before we treat new patients, you will be required to fill a medical history form. So please bring a list of all the medications, medical conditions, allergies you may have to drugs, latex etc in order to avoid any complications. Our expert dentist will perform a thorough clinical examination of your mouth and teeth. Our dentist may need full mouth X- ray (OPG) or 2 small x-rays on each side of your mouth (Bitewings) depending upon your last visit to a dentist or condition you are presenting with at the time of consultation. This allows us to assess your overall dental health and provide you with a complete check-up and cosmetic dentistry consultation. The dentist may also take digital photographs of your teeth and smile, along with all necessary digital x-rays. Together, you and your practitioner will view all the digital images and x-rays and create a customised care plan to achieve your dental goals.

Your appointments are scheduled at specific times to best suit your needs. Should you be unable to attend an appointment, we request that at least 48 hours’ notice be given to avoid a cancellation fee. This will allow us to reschedule your appointment and accommodate other waiting guests. A deposit may be required for certain treatments.

The unforeseen happens, we understand; and if your personal situation changes, please give us 48 hours’ notice to allow us to reschedule your appointment. For failing to cancel and or attend your appointment, some fees will be charged for the loss of clinical time.

We understand the importance for you to know at the outset what fees will be charged. It is therefore important that our dentists first meet you and understand your needs and wants. At your initial appointment, all issues will be discussed and treatment options provided, including their pros, cons and costs, to help you decide the best treatment for your situation and budget.  We will support whatever treatment you choose, and schedule an appropriate appointment time to ensure that we are able to provide high quality, gentle and painless care to achieve the best outcome for you. After this appointment, all exact fees will be discussed and a printed quote, with relevant item numbers for health fund claims, can be provided on your request.
